My Story
My goal is always to inspire other women to dream bigger so that one day their actions can motivate others.
I lost my husband, my Soul Mate, of 16 years (we'd been together for 21 years) to lung cancer in October 2009 and 47 days later I lost my Mom. We did not have any children, only our adorable fur baby, Mitzi.
In October 2010 I purchased a warmer and a few bars of wax at an event and was instantly hooked. I decided after 14 months of just going to work (I worked and still work full-time at a veterinary pharmaceutical company) and coming home to my fur baby and being stuck in that rut, that I wanted to get out and meet people and make a little extra money. After I realized how much money I was making and how AMAZING this company is, I decided to make Scentsy my 2nd career. I have met some of the most AMAZING people through my journey.
I have been able to help other change, make better, add more to their lives through this journey. I challenge myself to be a better person to people and the world daily. Although I have never earned any of the All Expenses paid trips to such places as Cancun, New York City, Hawaaii, Rome, I have been able to pay for my Season Tickets to the BEST baseball team ever -- The Kansas City Royals.
Scentsy is more than a company selling wicklsess candles. It's a FAMILY! A culture, different from all others. It is led by two WONDERFUL AMAZING people (Hiedi & Orville Thompson). Two people who are ALL IN for their consultants, two people just like you and I.Two people that want to see you succeed.
I challenge you, whether you're looking to make some extra money, maybe you just need to get ouf of the house, you need something else to do, maybe money isn't an issue for you - you want to give more, you want to be apart of something AMAZING, you want the product at a discount, whatever it may be- let me chat with you. The small cost of the starter kit could change your life, just like it did mine.
